At Hammerhead Contractors, we provide drainlaying, earthworks and Auckland Council onsite septic inspections services backed by 20 years of experience in the civil construction industry. We pride ourselves on delivering quality service with meticulous attention to detail and strong client relationships. Our commitment ensures that every project is completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Operating primarily within the greater Auckland area, we are also open to working outside of Auckland when the job requires it. We partner with all major suppliers to guarantee that quality materials and equipment are used, ensuring compliance with all required regulations and standards. We work closely with local councils to maintain full regulatory compliance.

Meet Andrew
After completing his training as a certified drainlayer, Andrew expanded his expertise by working in the gas and oil industries before transitioning into construction to gain experience in multiple fields.
Most recently, Andrew was a key member of one of New Zealand’s leading civil construction companies. However, driven by his passion for his trade and a desire to help clients achieve their goals, he decided to venture out on his own and start his own business.
With several years of experience in the drainage and civil construction industry, Andrew is committed to delivering high-quality service while fulfilling both his clients' and his own aspirations.
Andrew is actively involved in the community, particularly in youth sports like hockey and rugby, and enjoys fishing in the mighty Kaipara Harbour.
We are also proud supporters of our local Silverdale Rugby Club and Wainui School.

Health & Safety
We are fully compliant with all Health & Safety (H&S) requirements as a contractor. Our team is Site Safe certified, first aid trained, and capable of following all client-specific H&S requirements.
